Scoring Rules
Three common scoring formats. They differ only in what a catch is worth: nothing in standard, half a point in half-PPR, a point in PPR (“points per reception”). Your league may differ; most leagues use one of these three.
Players
| For each | Standard | Half-PPR | PPR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reception | 0 | 0.5 | 1 |
| Passing yard | 0.04 (1 per 25) | 0.04 | 0.04 |
| Passing touchdown | 4 | 4 | 4 |
| Interception thrown | −2 | −2 | −2 |
| Rushing or receiving yard | 0.1 (1 per 10) | 0.1 | 0.1 |
| Rushing, receiving or return touchdown | 6 | 6 | 6 |
| Two-point conversion (pass, run or catch) | 2 | 2 | 2 |
| Fumble lost | −2 | −2 | −2 |
Kickers (all formats)
| Field goal, 0–39 yards | 3 |
|---|---|
| Field goal, 40–49 yards | 4 |
| Field goal, 50+ yards | 5 |
| Missed field goal | −1 |
| Extra point | 1 |
| Missed extra point | −1 |
Points for players are checked every day against nflverse’s own standard and PPR scoring and match exactly. Kicking points use the common ESPN-style rules above; a non-kicker who kicks (an emergency kicker) scores them too.
