Beat the Shark — a football management game

About Beat the Shark

Before a ball is kicked, FixtureShark's model simulates the season thousands of times and predicts where your club will finish. Your job, as manager, is to beat that prediction. Every club, player and pundit is fictional; the model behind it is the real one.

The ideas in the game are the site's real tools:

Team Strength — every club's attack and defence, as expected goals
Starting Lineups — the XI the model expects each club to field
Fixture Heat Map — who has the kindest run of fixtures
Model Accuracy — how often the predictions come true
